Keeping Pets and their Owners Together
Animal FoodBank UK provides short-term emergency pet food support to people experiencing financial hardship across England, Scotland and Wales, helping to keep pets and the people who love them together.
Our Mission.
Supporting pet owners in need:
Animal FoodBank UK exists to help keep pets and the people who love them together during times of financial hardship and crisis.
We provide short-term emergency pet food support across England, Scotland and Wales, working with volunteers, communities, businesses and professional organisations to reach people when they need help most.
By collecting and redistributing donated pet food and supplies, we also help reduce unnecessary waste and make sure usable items reach pets and families instead of going to landfill.
A little support at the right time can help keep a much-loved pet where they belong — at home with their family.
Our Impact
Since Animal FoodBank UK began in December 2022, our support has continued to grow across England, Scotland and Wales.
- 150,000+ pet meals provided
- A growing national network of volunteers
- Support delivered through local volunteers, community partnerships and postal assistance
- Working with businesses, charities, local organisations and professional services
- Helping donated pet food and supplies reach families instead of going to waste
Behind every number is a pet being supported and a family being given a little breathing space during a difficult time.
Every meal, every donation and every volunteer helps make a difference.
"It's a small thing to help one animal,
but to that one animal,
it's a big thing!"
